My clinics are located in Nerang and Tugun.
My home visit area includes suburbs in a 15 km radius from Highland Park. On request I can travel further with additional payment for travel costs.

Breastfeeding Planning Session – $250 (Home visit $270)
First time mums:
An antenatal consultation goes for approx 60-90 mins. During this time I will provide antenatal education in relation to breastfeeding and how to make breastfeeding successful from the very first feed! Your personalised breastfeeding plan will be made during your consultation and emailed to you via PDF so that you have the confidence and support from the birth of your baby.
Second time mums:
An antenatal consultation goes for approx 90 – 120 mins. During this time we will debrief and discuss your previous breastfeeding journey’s and discuss how to make breastfeeding successful from the very first feed! Your personalised breastfeeding plan will be made during your consultation and emailed to you via PDF so that you have the confidence and support from the birth of your baby.
Initial Postnatal Consultation – $325 (Home visit $350)
This includes a 60-90 min consultation. During this time a comprehensive history, oral exam and an observation of feed will be undertaken. From this assessment a plan will be implemented. Follow up phone/email communication for 2 weeks is included in this fee.
These areas include:
- Sore/damaged nipples
- Mastitis management
- Low milk production
- Low weight gain
- Reflux/unsettled babies/colic
- Feeding with nipple shields
- Correcting positioning and attachment
- Assessment for tongue/lip tie and management plan
- Re-lactation
- Inducing lactation
- Bottle feeding support
Short Initial Consultation – $250 (Home visit $270)
This includes a 60 min consultation. A short initial is similar to initial consultation abut mainly used for families who may already know their problem area is and require some additional support but don’t require a full initial consultation. Follow up phone/email support for 2 weeks included.
These areas include:
- Post tongue/lip tie release rehabilitation
- Weaning advice
- Return to work/expressing plans
- Advice for introducing solids to baby
Subsequent Consultation – $225 (Home visit $250)
A subsequent consultation runs for approx. 45 mins that is a review of the previous feeding plan. During this consultation I will assess progress and discuss new options. Follow up phone/email support for 2 weeks included.
Online Consultation (Zoom/Skype or Facetime) :
$140/30 mins

Online consultations can be a great way to access assistance from a breastfeeding specialist if you are limited to access. Whilst an online consultation is NOT the same as a face to face consultation, it can assist in providing immediate assistance and help you continue with your breastfeeding journey.
Before an online consultation I will ask that specific photo’s of your baby need to be taken and sent through prior to our consultation along with completing my history form. During the consultation discuss findings of photos observe a feed, provide information to assist with latch and also creating a treatment/breastfeeding plan. Follow up support via phone/email for 2 weeks is included.

IBCLC – Katrina Sparke pricing for clinic consults
Meet Katrina Sparke
Katrina is a Midwife of 12 years and RN of 19 years specialising in Paediatric Intensive Care. She has recently completed specialist lactation training making her a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and has recently became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have been mentoring Katrina as a student IBCLC for the past 6 months.
Katrina is a mum to twins and after experiencing IVF and her own ups and downs with breastfeeding is extremely passionate about helping empower women through their individual and unique journeys.
Katrina is working under my mentorship and therefore offering her services at a discounted rate. When you consult with Katrina I will be providing full supervision by reviewing case notes with her both pre and post consultation and also overseeing infant feeding plans and reports.
Consultation prices are as follows:
$250 – Initial Consultation
$185 – Return Consultation
$185 – Short Initial Consultation
$185 – Breastfeeding Planning session
*** $25 travel fee applied for home visits when requested
Medicare Rebate
For antenatal sessions and postnatal sessions I am able to offer a medicare rebate if your baby is less than 7 weeks of aged. Please bring your medicare card with you to your appointment.

Cancellation fees:
To ensure that families are being seen promptly, there is cancellation fee of $75 will be applied if appointments are not canceled within 12 hours of an appointment (unless extenuating circumstances apply).
